Train hard for results

Our History

Founded in 2018 by friends who needed to get stronger. Originally getting our start as a small boxing gym to be able to bleed and yell with no one interrupting our love of strength training and iron moved us into powerlifting, and for the last few years have been a staple at multiple USAPL meets. 


We feel like a club more than a gym and it's common to see the owners lifting here so if you need a spot or just a hype person let us know.


Kalamazoo, Michigan is our home and we want it stronger and healthier

Heavy is a feeling, not a weight, so let out a little yell or grunt to feel right

Founded by 2 people one paralyzed from spinal injuries and the other simply "too small" we want our members to share the same belief. If you can't bend down, you need to start. If you can lift above your head, you need to start now.

The internet is full of new ways to get strong. But here we love using squats, deadlifts, pressing, and pullups. Mastering these movements may not look fashionable but the functionality is unmatched.

Whether it's eat more healthy foods, eat more protein, or just more in general this is a mainstay in our tenants

Life's difficulties come out of nowhere and it's best to be prepared. Whether a loved one is moving and needs help or your car died and needs to get pushed, we train for the difficult.

We are a community here and must respect each other as much as we want to be respected. 


Cleaning up after yourself adds a sense of pride to your workout and should be looked at as a way of meditation
